The minutes of the March 2017 business meeting were accepted as read.

The board approved replacing and updating the electrical ground system and wiring for the Edgehill Pool in accordance w/ recommendations made by Wake County that all pools ensure electrical systems and proper grounding are maintained.  Work will begin when the 2017 pool season ends.

The board unanimously approved hiring “Goosebusters 2” for a one-year service contract to battle the Canada Geese overpopulation in the vicinity of the Edgehill Farm lake and paved walking path. This contract will start on January 1, 2018.  The company will bring border collies on Edgehill Farm lake property for a minimum five days per week throughout 2018 to humanely “harass” Canada Geese into finding somewhere else to live.

The board approved hiring Seegar Fence to repair a section of chain link fencing that was damaged by a falling tree near the 100 building of Cedar Pointe.

The board unanimously approved the 2018 Association Operating Budget and set the dues rate at $43/month.

The board unanimously approved welding a piece of iron fence picket that needed repair at the Edgehill pool

The board tentatively but unanimously approved installing a handrail to lead from the sidewalk to the lake path and follow the sidewalk that’s located along the side of the pool.

The master association announced that it would receive bids to refurbish the aesthetics of the Edgehill Farm clubhouse.

The board unanimously appointed Westview Cove resident Casey Wilson to fill the unexpired term of former board member and former Westview Cove resident Kathy McDaniel. The appointment maintains proportional representation on the board as directly by master association by-laws.

The board unanimously approved proceeding with the collections action/foreclosure of an Edgehill Farm property for failure to pay association dues.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9pm
